An Investors's Dream Audiobook

I was intrigued by the name of this audiobook and keen to understand the concept. As someone who completed a Master's in Business Administration, I thought I’d have a basic understanding of the concept but how wrong I was. This information is on another level – comparing ratios, profits, inventory turnover and others. This is the perfect book for investors and people who are climbing the corporate ladder and hoping to make significant profits.

I particularly love Chapter 7 – What CEOs say and what they mean, very insightful indeed.

No Fuss, Just Knowledge

The thing I appreciate about this book is that it teaches me concepts that the title claims to teach, and does it without saying anything extra. The Texan accent of the narrator is also super fun despite the material itself being a bit boring (because it's a lot of math and accounting).

Informational and accurate

This book has a lot of detailed information. However, the way the content is delivered is super dry and boring. A couple chapters really didn't relate to the book and disrupted the books flow. The book have been done a lot better overall.

Delivers on promise and more!

Let me say this outright, WAO! It's been a while since I raved about anything, especially reviews, but this book is really loaded. I had so little knowledge about investing, relied on my regular 401k provided by my job, and would get notices on investments I had no control over or knowledge about. A colleague recommended I read this book just published to see if I learn anything. Thanks, Uche, for this recommendation, and now, I am recommending this to everyone without reservation. Get your learning pad out and take notes. It says 6 hrs plus, but it took me an entire 2 weeks of going back and forth taking notes. It's that good. I Learned how to analyze a company's financial reports and business, and how I can make great returns by buying stocks below their true value. It has real-life examples of single investments that changed lives, such as taking action with Tesla in 2014. I invested in Tesla but so little that the writing on the wall would be so apparent if I had this information. Back then, a friend literally took out a loan to invest in Tesla and begged me, but he could not explain why I still beat myself up for not listening. I had lost money in the past, and of course, I thought he was crazy. With the knowledge I gained here, I would have known how to assess a company's value and get basic ratios to assess the business's health. Glad this is the first in-depth investment book I had to listen to. I highly recommend it.

Solid Informations!

I've always enjoyed learning about investing and having a well-rounded portfolio. This book has very solid informations and several chapters. It is well designed. I liked the part with answer choices and the last chapter.
This book is 6 hours well invested in my humble opinion. I recommend it.

The Handbook for New Investors!

I was literally clueless about how to invest before listening to this audiobook; however, this book went into every single detail by breaking down the complexity when investing in stocks. I am now knowledgeable on what to expect, how to assess a company's value and financial statements before investing, and how to make a profitable investment in the stock market.

Managing Money

To manage money is not a day job.This is an issue I have been struggling with and to see a book like this with a step by step guide for beginners who plan to invest their money like me is a good thing.The book has provided me with financial information of most popular and money making companies in the stock market.

Investing in stocks Safely!

Investing in general is hard and it could be risky if you don't have the right tools and knowledge, this book it's a shortcut to a successful stock investing business, it teaches the basics of how to start by analyzing the financial statement of a company, and how to calculate the rations to assess the state of a business and so ,,, these two points that I mentioned that only a small part of the book but personally what I liked the most is the discipline and the patience mindset that this book beatch to do profitable and useful market research for a better outcome. Highly recommended

Life changing

This book encopasses the full spectrum of what a trader needs. From beginning to end this book taught me lessons in trading that i was having problems with and how to improve my trading performance and experience. I highly reccomend this book to anyone entering the trading world and even for those who may need a refresher course.
