Loved the PNW setting of this story. Good story premise and the character development is a good balance of conflict, compassion, and chaotic. The narrative started off slow, but ended at a good pace.

Excellent
These books about Maddie, Robo & Cole just keep getting better and better. I've read the whole series and love the fact that Robo is one of the main characters. The plot is well constructed and the characterization is, as always, excellent. The subject matter in this book was tough but the author handled it very well.

Starts with energy, then a bang, and we’re off!
Another excellent book in the series and another one I didn’t want to put down…in my case stop listening to.
Gathering Mist starts with energy, then a bang…and we’re off!
The storyline was fantastic and the details vivid. I enjoyed all my favorite characters and Nancy Wu’s narration.
Margaret Mizushima never disappoints. Her mystery, suspense, thriller, and crime fiction books are top notch!
I highly recommend this book and the series. Enjoy!!!

Incredible descriptive text
All the books in the series were wonderful, but this book was the best. The description of scenes, events,and emotions made me feel as if I were there. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, including the surprising ending.
