Very inspirational and practical for anybody who dreams of living abroad permanently without running out of money. If you have ever dreamed of living a lifestyle where you are always on the road, there are some basic pieces of information that you need to know. That, and the consistent income to pay for transportation, accommodations, and food. Mike Swigunski is an expert in this field. Somebody who has lived and continues to live the lifestyle he is marketing here.

The Audiobook edition of Global Career is a great way to keep this book in your library and ready to pull up when you need some extra inspiration. If you are sitting at home wondering how you will ever afford to travel permanently, this book will give you the knowledge and framework that you need from somebody who truly walks the walk.

This book opened me up to the many options available for work and travel. A must read for any college bound kid with a sense of adventure or any professional wanting to make their work experience more interesting . You don’t have to wait for retirement to travel and experience the world.

Mike provides information that is impactful and easy to understand, yet hasn't been provided in such a concise format.

Lessons from real life experience!

While this book is geared more towards college students and those who are very early in their careers, it's still chock full of hard won insights and great tips for those considering living and working internationally. It has inspired me to give some serious thought to how I might be able to make this work in my own life. The bases are really well covered with everything from trip planning and Visas to specific information about some of the most popular country destinations and a ton of great travel tips as well. I'd definitely recommend a listen even if you're just thinking about what life might be like for an extended adventure outside of the US.

The digital nomad lifestyle is becoming increasingly popular and trendy, allowing individuals to find jobs abroad and explore the countries where they temporarily reside.

Today, many people are contemplating the freedom to live and work wherever they choose, embracing a lifestyle that brings joy and fulfillment. Traveling empowers us in this way. However, the fear of leaving behind the comfort of a settled life – with established work, home, family, and friends – still holds many back.

The author shares his own success stories, along with tips and tricks on organizing travel, preparing paper works including visa issues, finding accommodation, networking, and financial planning. I found these insights highly valuable. For instance, while I was familiar with tourist and working visas, I learned about the "working holiday visa" through this book. This visa allows individuals not only to visit and stay in another country but also to legally work there (although not all countries offer this option; the book provides some information on those that do).

The book presents various options for working and traveling tailored to your goals, education, lifestyle, career pursuits, and dreams. I found it to be an essential resource, making numerous notes for myself.

This book has fueled my desire for location independence. It is a how to book from someone who is creating a trail for the rest of us to follow, and in turn, blaze our own trails. I have listened to Mike Swigunski now on EPOP, and his journey is inspirational.

Wish I had this book before.

Whereas The Four Hour Workweek highlighted the remote lifestyle can work for select entrepreneurs, this book highlights that almost anyone can live a remote lifestyle.

From teaching English to executive positions in remote firms and everything in between Mike shares how you can travel and work.

Wish I had this book when starting my travels. Highly recommended.
