Publisher's summary

I no longer trust USPS, and the organization has made it to the top of my list of the most corrupt and backward branches of the US Government. Being stolen from is never fun, but being verbally accosted by a USPS insurance adjuster and having a top-level employee from the Postmaster General's office tell you that billions of dollars a year of merchandise are stolen annually from USPS facilities is unsettling, to say the least. These items are of course looted USPS employees, and it is completely overlooked by supervisors and other upper-management because they steal as well. USPS is accountable to no one because they are a branch of the US Government, and I am sure there are millions of people that deal with this organization annually in situations just like mine. I am sure that everyone reading this would consider an honest postal system to be a necessity of a well-functioning democracy. I gave up, like so many before me, and I have concluded that the US is slowly dismantling itself. My experience is a metaphor for a larger erosion of faith in the US Government, and it's quite sad. I can empathize with the postal employees who were angered by carrying packages for people who were collecting stimulus checks while the rest of the nation sat at home during the COVID19 holiday watching reruns of their favorite TV shows and movies while pocketing free money from the Federal Government. Stealing, however, is wrong, and we have a right to have faith in our postal system. Karma is an interesting thing, and the only sign of hope that I see for all federal employees is dissolving their entire retirement accounts through inflation. It looks like the Federal Reserve will probably serve justice to all American citizens including our faithless brethren at USPS, and although it will be hard for us, I will be enjoying poverty with a smirk on my face knowing that all the idiots working at the United States Postal Service will be living in the new Weimar Republic, too!
