Publisher's summary

Tucked away at an upscale, private boarding school in Brindle Hollow, Washington, 17-year-old Eden East comes face to face with a hideous creature on her walk back to her dorm. Shaken to her core, she's left questioning the world around her, and soon finds herself entering a friendship with a hot, new student named Alexander.

Little does she know, Alex is a Guardian Angel, sent from Midway to protect her from those dangerous creatures - known as Darkling - lurking in the forest outside Brindle Hall. It isn't long before Alex learns this is no ordinary assignment. Eden's existence holds a secret; something hidden from even herself.

Eden is thrust into a world where Fallen angels and creatures of the Underworld will stop at nothing to catch her. With Alex at her side and a little help from some of his old friends, they form a formidable front against the enemy.

Hopefully, it's not too little, too late.

Guarding Eden is a Hidden Wings spin-off series and a Midway novel.

guarding Eden

although I have loved the previous three books by Cameo Renae along this storyline better than this one this book was okay except the character of Sebastian was so annoying the very flamboyant manner in which he was to speak was extremely annoying to listen to I almost quit listening to the book because of that I'm glad I didn't because his story is still good but that character is so unnecessary

Alex and Eden's story

Glad to read more about the Guardian Angels from Midway. In GUARDING EDEN, Alex finds himself on assignment watching over a girl in a private highschool who had a run-in with a darkling. It turns out Eden is a Nephillim, part Angel, part human. since Lucian has killed most Nephillim, finding there is another, who will soon transform, midway sends help.

Thank you Tess Iron dale and Nathan Everett for you wonderful narration!

An Enchanting yet thrilling Prequel!!!

If you could sum up Guarding Eden in three words, what would they be?

Thrilling, passionate, beautiful.

What other book might you compare Guarding Eden to and why?

To be honest there is no book that I'd compare to Guarding Eden.

Which character – as performed by Tess Irondale and Nathan Everett – was your favorite?

All of them! I am new to this series and since this is the only one I've listened to. I hoping to get to know some characters more before I could choose a favorite. They are all wonderfully written.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The spark. The undeniable, consuming love between the couples.

Any additional comments?

Definitely buy this if you've either purchased the other books. If you like romance, fantasy and the supernatural you'll love this books.

Such a good read!

I haven't read the series yet about Caden and Emma, just because I hate love triangles but you can definitely read this book as a stand alone. Has some cussing and petting and they do consummate their bond at the very end but it doesn't go into to it very much. Wish it did but this is a young adult book so there ya go. Lol But, honestly, I really liked it. It was love at first site although forbidden (they think) and they do have interactions with the clan of Caden, Emma, Thomas and others so that made it interesting plus a few action, fight scenes.

male narrator is terrible!

Overall ok story wise, although it was lacking in details the authors other books have. However, the male narrator is awful, reminiscent of William Shatner. He even pronounces one of the series" characters name so wrong, it comes out as the female version. Terrible.
