A Patricia Campbell su existencia nunca le ha parecido tan insignificante. Una reimaginación de Noche de Miedo (Fright Night) para adultos
Venía con mucha expectación para leer-escuchar este libro del autor. Hendrix es parte de esta nueva camada de escritores de terror anglosajones junto a Paul Tremblay y otros, cuyos libros están empezando a adaptarse a series y películas. Quizás por ello, me llevé una decepción con este libro. Los primeros dos tercios no pude dejar de pensar en la maravillosa película de Tom Holland de 1985 . Tras eso mejora para el tercer acto. Si te gustan las novelas de vampiros, creo que hay mejores novelas contemporáneas, aunque sigue siendo un libro entretenido con buenos cliffhangers entre capítulos. Por otro lado, la adaptación al audiolibro está muy bien lograda y posee una buena ambientación con matices en la voz que hace agradable escucharlo. Saludos desde el sur de Chile.

Lo recomiendo!
Nos muestra la desigualdad y los conflictos sociales de la época, mientras nos cuenta una historia de terror, con unas escenas de verdad perturbadores que hasta la fecha no logró sacar de mi mente. Me encantó que todo esta contado desde el punto de vista de las integrantes de un club de lectura. Muy bueno y adictivo! Y la narración excelente!

Pésimo libro
No me gustó nada. La historia me pareció poco coherente, y creíble. Las mujeres sumisas, a expensas de lo que sus esposos les dijeran, al final medio despiertan, sin embargo no lo suficiente. Es un libro machista y clasista. Más que miedo, sentí enojó al leer el libro. No lo recomiendo
