Publisher's summary

I'm like a snowball rolling downhill.

That's the first thing that pops into my mind when I try to explain my life. I don't know exactly "what'"I am, but I do know who I am. At least...I did.

Sometimes life sends things your way that upend everything you thought you knew, and then slings you in another direction without any sort of harness or warning.

Sometimes it drops someone like me off in the path of four wildly different monsters, who all used to be best friends, but now sort of hate each other and compete over absolutely everything, including...me.

Life would be easier if I wasn't already attached to those four monsters, but they occasionally let their guard down around me, and I get a glimpse of what has to stay hidden under all those snowball layers, since they already rolled downhill a long time ago.

I'm tired of losing people I care about. I'm tired of searching aimlessly for answers. I'm tired of not having the right questions to ask.

Contains mature themes.

Good story line- entertaining-eye rolling at times

I really like the book, but Violet makes me roll my eyes sometimes at how patient she is or gullible . I get her place, but come on grow a spin. Over all the narrators are warming up to my ear, and I can understand them better. Good back ground . It does jump around a lot, it feels like at times. One moment they are doing something the next something else 8 delisted to it frequently.

Oh violet you little pandora box.

I love that with each book we learn more and more. We get insight to key players and what they mean all while it gets more twisted. The new characters definitely bring more challenges but in a good way.

Amazing

I cannot speak more highly of a series! the story is amazing lots of unexpected twists and turns. this story has me laughing crying and sitting on the edge of my seat. the perfect amount of spice with a slow build. the narration is the cherry on top. these narrators don't just read the story they preform.

Not what I was hoping would happen

Okay I am writing this review for a couple of reasons. First, I am really disappointed in where this story line is going. I don't like the whole concept of the female lead pretty much being used to help free the boys first true love. I think there is way too much manipulation going on in this series. The first two books were pretty good, she was getting closer to the guys, and now this book is all about her being a temporary replacement for Idun until she helps break Idun out. Really? The boys are shallow if they still make her feel like she has to fight for their attention and love. Also, I don't really know where any of them stand with their feelings for Violet. For such a caring and awesome character, she sure gets the short end of the stick in this book. I have about 3 hours left. I doubt I will be finishing it anytime soon. The narrators were the only redeeming quality in my opinion.
