Addicted to Vampires Novels

It's been a years and I am not tired listening to my very first audiobook of the Night Huntress Series. So I keep on coming back and listen to the series again and again. As a newbie, I was able to finished the 7 audiobooks of the series and I am wide awake, this is positive experience as a first time listener of audiobook. This series is my all time favorite and the narrator "Tavia Gilbert", I am a fan. Kudos to the author of this full package book, Jeaniene Frost.

I am really addicted to the Vampires Novels. Aside from audiobooks, I am done watching the "Twilight Movies "and The Vampires Diaries TV show in Netflix. OMG! I hope that they film the Night Huntress Series. In the meantime, let's do the throwback.

So this is an Interesting love story of Cat 😼 and Bones 🦴. I don't get bored because there's an action, drama, romance, suspense and more to discover while listening to the series.

I highly recommend this audiobook "Halfway to the Grave" and the rest of the series.

Enjoyable Story, Laughed Out Loud Humor

I’ve had this book in my library for over 5 years, and tried several times to listen to it. Could not get past the voice for Bones.
The reviews were so good, I gave it one more try. SO glad I did.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and have since downloaded the next two books.

By the middle of the book I was totally fine with Bones’ voice and really love Bones and his sense of humor.

Ready for book 2

Oh, I really do NOT like Kat’s mom, or her grandparents. Justina is a miserable, self centered, narcissist witch of a person, speaks horribly to Kat, and hope she is not in every book.

Surprise

I read a lot of vampire books Supernatural world books but this book allowed me to see the realistic realm of vampirism it gave a different point of view of not the magical it’s amazing but what you have to deal with if you love a vampire and the racism of dealing with someone that is not your race it’s actually a more nonfiction because if you separate it for let’s see if it was black or white race or Mexican and Islamic it’s really allows you to see your self that if you love something fight hard matter what. 

Entertaining

I must admit, I didn't read the description and went based on a friend's blind recommendation. I enjoyed the book, and I will continue to the second. Funny part for me, is that the first somewhat explicit sexual scene came on while I was driving with someone in my car. We both exclaimed "oooooh" and laughed.

The voice actor did a great job portraying tones and different characters. The writing was entertaining. The story line was nothing new, but the character progression was well done.

Amazing

Both Jeanine Frost and Tavia Gilbert are fantastic. Great story. Fabulous narration. I'm in it for the whole series now.

one of my all time favorite series

I absolutely love this series especially book 1 . it's my go to book when I need something to keep me busy while I find something else... bones and cat are amazing 😍

Eliza Doolittle is alive and well

The story itself is pretty good. Kept my attention. I had to swallow a few times the immaturity/ stupidity of the main character but I finished the book so that’s an endorsement. The voice of the make lead was harder to swallow. A high school production of “My Fair Lady” comes to mind

Out of all the books, Tavia Gibert knows how to use her voice. Jeanine Frost writing, came to life. If each of your books are like this I will follow your writing from the first to the last.

Oh I didnt like the male voice

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I just couldnt take the male voice seriously

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narration really wasnt bad except for when she did the lead male's voice.. It just sounded like a lady doing a bad brittish accent

What would have made this romance irresistible?

If she would have done something different for the male's voice (it really distracted me from the story)

Any additional comments?

I know I sound like I'm harping on one issue but everytime I tried to listen I would get distracted from the goofy sounding guy voice.. I tried, but I just couldnt do it... But the story was interesting though, and if you can get used to the male's voice then I think you'll enjoy it.

Accents, and attitude.

Yes I would, but I also like to draw my audios out..
