About this listen
Welcome to the latest audiobook by the globally renowned investigator of the supernatural Tom Slemen, a man whose very name is synonymous with some of the greatest ghost stories in the world, and this audiobook is packed with some very strange and mystifying stories that range from the sad story of a lovable 1920's flapper named Lulu - who later becomes a psychopathic razor-wielding ghost - to a wannabe television extra who is tempted with Hollywood stardom - if he can just behead a loved one. You will listen of a girl who was dedicated at birth to a terrifying demon who becomes her guardian, and you will be thrilled by the nerve-jangling tales of the things that lurk at the foot of your bed at night.
In this landmark, unparalleled work on the paranormal you will encounter sinister beings such as leprechauns, and the Trinidad Werewolf; you will also encounter “The Fetch” - a lecherous, immoral doppelganger that is supposed to work as a slave for a businessman who hates the drudgery of his job - but instead it tries to kill him after raping his secretary; and then there is the spine-chilling Hell Riders - bikers from beyond the grave that roam the highways of the night - and occasionally help those in danger. Peruse the perplexing case of the Bride in the Suitcase Ghost, and shiver at the antics of Hocus the Clown who haunts the old Pavilion Theatre - now a bingo hall. Listen to this book and absorb the unearthly tale of the Halloween Man, and savor the weird happening in Tom’s Oddtales Soup. Listen to these stories alone at your own peril, for when you take an interest in the supernatural, the supernatural takes an interest in you...

Story
This book - which put Liverpool on the paranormal map - is about ghosts - whatever they are. Every culture has believed in ghosts at one time or another: Buddha trained himself to overcome fear by sitting in a haunted cemetery. Spooky tales are not just a contemporary phenomenon - there are several ghosts mentioned in the Old Testament. In the course of a person's lifetime, the chances of encountering a ghost are surprisingly high.

More Tales of the Unusual Found Nowhere Else
This was another fantastic collection of strange and unusual tales from author Tom Slemen and narrated by the excellent Nigel Peever, with spooky sound effects and great character voices. These tales are all true. Liverpool isn't just the Beatles. If you enjoy spooky true tales, be sure to check out the other volumes of Haunted Liverpool, they won't disappoint. I should warn you that they are highly addicting.

great
Some stories were inspirational and uplifting while others were weird and scary. Unexplainable, unbelievable, and seemingly coincidental events. I'm not usually a fan of time
slips, but the ones described here gave me pause, and I found them intriguing. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life and the sound effects are awesome.
