About this listen
Magic can be a blessing or a curse...Emma Ayers is about to discover the biggest secret of her life - she's a witch. When tragedy upends Emma's idyllic life, she is taken in by a mysterious woman - the matriarch to Hell's Belles, a secret society of debutante witches in the historic city of Charleston. With Emma's help, they'll try to defeat an enemy that wants all the powers the Belles are gifted with - and who will stop at nothing to get them. Even if it means destroying everyone in the path, including the city they protect.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

It’s 1984, and life has changed beyond recognition. Airstrip One, formerly known as Great Britain, is a place where Big Brother is always watching, and nobody can hide. Except, perhaps, for Winston Smith. Whilst working at the Ministry of Truth, rewriting history, he secretly dreams of freedom. And in a world where love and sex are forbidden, where it’s hard to distinguish between friend and foe, he meets Julia and O’Brien and vows to rebel.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Master Narrator
Audiobook narrated by
Nicole Poole
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have to admit I got this because of Nicole Poole.
She's a master of her craft.
The story was warm, cosy, sad, and ended rather abruptly, but not on a cliffhanger.
I'm too curious not to dive into the next one, and since it's narrated by Nicole Poole, I'm sure I will enjoy it.

BRILLIANT 👏 I can't wait to start #2!!!
1st of all massive props to Alison Claire for picking one of my fave narrators to..well..narrate!! 😊 I adore Nicole Poole's wonderfully 💖 smooth voice. That being said I found WHAT she narrated here in this first novel of a very promising trilogy to be utterly captivating!!! Infact I can't say enough great things about this author who is new (to me,) oh wait!! Massive Kudos to Alison Claire for not turning her brillianr new series into what 96% of all other authors seem to be doing at the moment which is basically turning an amazing fantasy series into a hardcore graphically detailed sex scene aa in one. singular. on wait yes usually with maybe a few intermittent scenes of what could have potentislly been a most EXCELLENT storyline. But the Quality & Quantity of said storylines are now few & far between in quite a few of the newer series/trilogys out there . I've actually been rather sick & tired as of late bc of this ( nb; Don't get me wrong. I love the romance genre added to the fantasy/supernatural genre(s) which i love so much to listen to as it's a great escape for me I guess & I also quite enjoy a romance scene or two during a novel!!!) & ive been extremely disheartened too; to say the least as the audiobook prospects seemed to be looking rather grim as of late lol well for me at least.
I'm THRILLED I stumbled across Alison Claire & this awesome series which no less is in the Prem + catalog (yay me!!)
The storyline just kept on getting better & better (I didn't hit pause once-listened to this audiobook the whole day!) and now I cannot wait to follow Alison Claire to see if she has any other audiobooks released annnnnnd MOST importantly I cannot wait to hit, "Submit," in 1 sec so I can most happily hit, "Play," on #2 in the Hells Bells Series!! yea its THAT good 💯 😊✌🏼✨️🧚♀️💖💫🔮🧜🏻♀️💞🦄🙏🏼

Boring
This is really so boring I had to skip of it and the girl is so annoying I could not finish the book, the back and forth pretty much put me to sleep each person should have just gotten their own book and probably a less whiny teen
