How to leverage your HSP attributes and succeed in business, friendships, and romance!

Have you ever wondered why you always seem to be more affected by the world around you while everyone else seems oblivious to it? Are you more sensitive to lights, sounds, medications, coffee and alcohol, or even violent fiction or crimes on the news? You could be one out of every five Americans who live with high sensitivity. Although this could bring you many more obstacles to face in life, there are many advantages this brings you if you learn how to master your senses properly. This book will help you learn about the many ways your senses can be affected. You will delve into all the different areas of your life and will learn how to better understand yourself when faced with obstacles, and have the tools to help you fight through them and use them to your advantage. You don't know yourself as well as you think.

Inside this life-changing book, you'll find out that you are not alone! Many highly sensitive people (HSPs) live amazing lives by using their unique skill sets to great advantage. As you listen to this book, you'll come to realize that your increased awareness of the world makes you more profoundly affected by everyday life - and especially social interactions. However, your HSP also makes you special - and an invaluable asset to your coworkers, friends, and lovers!

What this book covers:

  • The traits that may come along with being highly sensitive and how they give you an advantage in life

Informative audio book

I found this term when I took a Myers Briggs Personality Inventory for my counseling course and the summary suggested further research in this area. The book gave me a brief synopsis of what I've been dealing with most of my life and now I would like to delve deeper as it relates to setting up my home environment and work setting. Overall great book!

Underwhelming

This felt like a reading of a user manual. I thought this wouldn't be a manual/instruction as to what to do, rather, more inspirational and creative as to how being an HSP is an asset and advantageous.

Fantastic, uplifting, and valuble

What did you love best about Highly Sensitive People Going Strong?

The best part about Highly Sensitive People Going Strong is tuning down your weaknesses and accentuating your strengths when you're dealing with other people. There's also a ton of valuable advice everyone can learn from and I highly advise anyone to hear this audiobook.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

It would be a documentary and the tag line would be "Your inner help."

Any additional comments?

There's a ton of information about life tips as well. Whether you're aware of it or not, you're relationship with others highly depends with the relationship with yourself at first. You need to understand your strengths before you help others but finding out what you're good at and finding out what value you'll give to people is one of the most prominent points Josephine talks about.
