Bit of a harsh beginning

But it got better later on. Eventually I really liked the story. I hope the next book will be just as good.

His to Wed - Emilia and Alessandro

This was a pretty good book. Emilia was forced to marry Alessandro. She was a very weak person, although she spoke and understood English perfectly. Alessandro was a little harder to warm up to. By the end of the book, he turned out to be pretty decent, especially when it came to Emilia. Wen Ross and Charlotte Claremont did a very good job with the narration. I will move on to book 2 because it was already purchased.

Wonderful word play, smooth interaction between the players, great characters and good ending looking forward to the next chapter

I really enjoyed this book! The narration was so well done! I highly recommend this book!

Disappointed

I have never written a soso review. The book was not terrible but was not that great either. It felt rushed and the story was a little bland. It didn’t go in-depth at all and then all of a sudden it was over and the epilogue was no better. I wouldn’t have used my credit for this. Narrators were pretty good. The male was better than the female.

Lackluster

Weak female character and the male character was not represented very well by the narrator. I’m not sure if you have to read this series in order but if you don’t have to I’d say skip this one and move to book 2!

Non-consentual sex...

following kidnaping and forced marriage. This did not follow the ruff Mafia on the streets - desperatly devoted at home MMC that I was looking for. So much non-consentual sex and abuse. The story was not for me.
The female narrator gets all the stars for performance.

Weak female character

The female narrator did very well. Male was mediocre. It is infuriating to listen to this female character. She has no backbone and just lets the man walk all over her. She started out strong but it just angered me endlessly that she let her husband walk all over her and punish her for no apparent reason. Couldn’t even finish the book.

Don't waste your time.

Where do I start. The guy has nothing good about him. And the woman's view was not believable. This book got me in a bad mood.

Meh

The narrators are great. The story, however, is meh. It just falls flat from start to finish. The fmc has no backbone. The mmc...I'm sure the author was trying to make him into a possessive alpha but he just came across as an annoying a**. The spicy scenes in the beginning feels so much like SA instead of sexy. And in the middle to the end just feels boring, like there's no soul. Idk. Maybe i just wasn't in the right mood when i listened to this. I was excited to get Antonio and Isabella's book, but now idk..
