Amazing

I felt all the feels. This is the first book I’ve read by this author. I searched her name and discovered she is no longer on this earth.
She was a gift.
She was here.
I have placed all of her books on my wish list.

Loved the story’

The reader was sooooooo not right for this book. The story was great though! Awesome listen!

Awesome story

I really loved this audiobook. It was a great story about the trials and tribulations we sometimes face within our families. Lennox and Mercy are two sisters, whose couldn’t be more opposite, with Lennox being a drug dealer and Mercy living on the straight and narrow. Highly recommend, but the narrator took some getting used to.

The Narrator!!

Loved it ALL! This book has me on an emotional roller coaster—happy, sad, mad…. Fabulous!

Great story

Love the story, up and down and full of emotions. I even shared a tear.

Emotional!!!

First, I think the narrator was good for the story I don’t see why people saying she wasn’t, she did good. But babyyy you talking about emotional rollercoaster yea this book did that , I been looking at this book not knowing if I wanted to read it glad I did , I love how the author did with the sisters and than the cousins and how it relates to one another. Lastly, I love Zay such a real man was there for Macy and still was there for them boys to call on in the end (spoil alert)

Outstanding listen

I’m in awe of how well written and narrated this book is. The narrator did an amazing job and I was fully immersed in her delivery. I loved everything about this listen and this book.

bittersweet

This story is very heartfelt (tearful a few times). They all loved hard, but love wasn’t enough.

The writer did an excellent job of telling each persons story. We all have plans for the future and 1 thing can change the future for all

PROFOUND!

Very well written with passion and emotion. I couldn’t stop reading it and the times I did I kept thinking about them and anxious to get back to it. I was fuss and sad that there was no happy endings and I spent most of the final four chapters in tears.

Kept me wanting to hear more

This story was very well told. It was full of happiness; full of sadness as tears were jerked the way true life happens. I will give this a thumbs up for sure.
