Publisher's summary

Don't let crazy people drive you crazy. Don't let annoying, obnoxious, petty people get under your skin. Stop having to ask the same thing over and over again. Whether it's your kids, spouse, friend, client, patient, or co-worker, why try to "deal" with people when you can change them?

New York Times best-selling author David Lieberman is a master at interpersonal relationships, and this is his most useful collection of easy psychological tactics yet.

How to Change Anybody

I want to change myself at first, and then I'll try to change my family include my wife. Also, I want to change my mother.
I think if I change myself at first, everything will be changed.

Yes, if you wish this as a knowledge reference.

I think this is basic information how to steer a person into providing the answers and even actions that you desire, by how you pose a question or conversation to steer the other person. Its fairly passive in nature but does show you how other's words can control What You Do, so that enlightment alone is worth the credit. This is actually good to know if you feel someone is verbally controlling, and you will be more knowledgeable about this, so thus more controlling of your own actions and reactions. However I do now feel that one should attempt to control anothers behavior and concentrate on their own behaviors. Now having said that, I can see how a parent would want to help control or guide their children in this way to avoid conflicts, get them working together, etc. So, enjoy this prespective on things in this guide, notice when its being done to you, and use the knowledge carefully. Certainly an interesting prespective to learn more about. I am happy its one in my library of over 50 self help book listens.

Common knowledge...

Common knowledge techniques that you probably already know. Personally, I had expected more out of this book - e.g. something new.

hard to follow

This might be better as a printed book. I found it hard to follow. If you listen and then put it aside, when you get back to it and the narrator says "the fifth technique is", you don't remember what the topic is. There are some good ideas, but I didn't find this worthwhile as an audiobook.

Too much technical jargon

Might be ok for someone with a PHD in the field but for the ave person hard to understand.
