Now I know why it's a "classic." A rite of passage
Some of the principles in this book had an IMMEDIATE impact on my ability to connect with people. Phrasing in my emails and texts has changed for the better, and I'm a better parent too. In general, I know some land mines to avoid (criticism of any kind for example) and some ways to positively influence (example ask for help). I will be making sure my son reads this book.

Life lessons
One of if not the best book I’ve ever read about interacting with anyone in any setting. If a happy peaceful life is what you desire then read this book and follow its guidelines in life.

Required Reading
This book is considered a staple for business men and women. It was great being able to study it during my commutes! It is full of so many little "nuggets" of wisdom that can be easily applied to your daily interactions. Listening to the examples that Dale Carnegie provides, you can quickly relate it to people in your own life. 10/10 would recommend.

Very good but old school
Very good listen but very old school. I think everything still applies. It's more about how to be likeable and a good person in general. More about how to interact in business then I expected. Highly recommend. I now see some of my problems I've had at work with coworkers and bosses.

Of course the stage has changed a few times since this book was written. The principles remain the same. Everyone should read and/or listen to this book to keep their feet out of their big mouths. I'm going to listen again.

Where does How to Win Friends & Influence People rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
