Im a big fan of the buffy series, and i loved this book! I loved how the author looped the old scoobies back into it! But wow, i got to the end and wanted more! please hurry with the next book 🤣

A Treat for Buffy Fans
Blake took on the task of creating a new Buffy story blending new and old characters with a brand new Big Bad. She stays true to the mythology while adding some great new twists. The story manages to entertain at every turn: creepy, campy, fun. Fans of Blake's previous work will not be surprised by this deftly told story. She's had it in her since Anna Dressed in Blood.

Buffy Fans Will Enjoy!
I enjoyed this! Fans of the Buffy verse will enjoy this too. I loved the callbacks to characters and events in the Buddy and Angel tv series. I loom forward to the next story in this series.

great story! one nit...
Really enjoyed this story. there's so little published in the Buffyverse that isn't a graphic novel. One nit - there is no way a girl raised Jewish is going to wear a big heavy crucifix to a school dance, no matter who it originally belonged to.

Great whether you are a fan or new Buffy
What a ride! I enjoyed myself a great deal. This book is as close to a direct sequel to Buffy The Vampire Slayer season 7 as we are ever going to get. This skips the graphic novels entirely, and I'm alright with that.
Frankie is a worthy successor to the slayer lineage. Our new Scoobies are dynamic, compelling, and diverse. The returning gang of characters is well-written and in sync with their original counterparts. The witty dialogue is also instep with the show. It had me laughing out loud during some parts.
I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't go into any more detail, but if you are a Buffy fan, you will enjoy this book.
The audio version was a lot of fun. Sarah Mollo-Christensen, no novice when it comes to narrating Buffy books, is often, but not always, spot on with our original characters' voices. Close enough to make you smile when listening.

True to original story.
This is a perfect continuation and honestly I hope this story is what the reboot ends up being about. 10/10 story. Loved Jake so much and Frankie is so sweet. Can’t wait to listen to “one girl in all the world”.

Nostalgic but new
I would recommend this book to any Buffy fan. There’s enough nostalgia thrown in to keep you satisfied but it also has a new story that helps it stand on its own. It did take me a little while to get into, but I’m so glad I did. Now I’m onto the second one. Maybe someday they can make those into a show too.
