intense

A book to ponder.
Wanting to send it to some family members but they are Protestants who don't understand monastic life.
Being a former Catholic ,I have become affiliated with many other churches after my husband divorced me and I chose to remarry (43 years ago)!
This book is not so much about monastic life as it is an encouragement to embrace Christ in one another.

Another good book from Sister Joan

suster Joan.provides a beautiful perspective of the Desert Fzther and Mothers in a way their life can be better understood as a model. I enjoyed hearing her read her story as that gives deeper meaning to the text.

Stop, Think, Pray, and Replay

One of the best books I have on spirituality. Joan Chittister is one of my favorite authors and to hear her give the lessons in the book is very special to me.

The presentation makes me feel like we are sitting together in a nice lounging area and she teaching a small group the lessons in this wonderful book.

Thank you Joan Chittister for such a wonderful and inspiring book that you wrote and performed.

Awful

Egyptian anecdotes twisted to support American liberal politics. And too confidently for someone lecturing on humility.
