the digitized voice.

I don't think I'll be listening to anymore digital voices if I have other options. Just as I start enjoying the story, I'm reminded that it's digital with mispronounced words. I adore the author but the stories don't have a personal touch anymore. Using digital is probably cheaper, but the listeners are actually paying with disappointment.

Not a fan of virtual but this one was one of the better ones I’ve heard

This was enjoyable. Kept listening waiting to see what would happen next. Really like the family members Len the best.

Get rid of virtual voice!!

This may have been a great story if not for the mechanical robotic nature of virtual voice. Unfortunately, it made me lose interest in this story! Had to move on to something more enticing.

AI narration

The AI narration leaves so much to be desired; cadence is sometimes off, nuance isn’t expressed and some words like “wound” are pronounced incorrectly in relation to the context; “wound” as is being hurt vs “wound” as in wound a rope around a tree

Liked the story, not the performance

While I like the tale, the virtual voice made enough pronunciation errors to break the flow and left me momentarily scratching my head over what it said. This is the second virtual voice book I've listened to and like the first, I found the monotone made it hard sometimes to know which character was speaking during dialogues, While these voices are pleasant, the lack of exclamation and emotion hamper your imagination, makes it hard to get into the story. I kept thinking, "don't they proof-listen this stuff ?"

I love all of Brandon Massey stories his writing skills are brilliant! I really didn't care for the virtual narrator to flat and not enough characters engaging and differentiate in voices

This AI nonsense is horrible.. pronouncing voodoo like “voe doo” made me absolutely nauseated!! Stop using AI. Story was good though

AI generated reading

Absolutely love the books but the AI generated reading takes out that raw emotion and correct pronunciation for certain dialects. Not a fan of the AI readings 😞
