I would say I avoided bloodshed, but it's kind of part of the whole "vampire" thing. The new narration has ruined it
When the audio book first came out, I was really excited. Emily Woo Zellar did an incredible job giving each character a distinct voice.
There was almost 4 years between books 4 and 5 . The 5th audio book came out and it founded nothing like new l books 1-4. I am not sure who decided to have Emily redo books 1-4.
Russell barely sounds southern. Reed doesn’t have the deep voice anymore. If certain individuals in the next audio book don’t sound right, I will probably not ever listen to the series again.
It is one of my favorite series. I have read them over and over. I am losing my ability to read and for my beloved series to sound different is disheartening.

one of my fav series ever
I love this series Amy Bartol is an AMAZING author and Emily woo zeller is the perfect narrator for it! can't wait for new material from both of these lovely tslented ladies! !

Great Story!
I really enjoyed this book. it has been a while since I gave a book a 5 star rating. I enjoyed the fact that this book contained all the vital parts of a YA Romance without any graphic depictions of sex or excessive foul language.

I’m not sure if it’s the boring narration or the fact that this story sounds like so many other angel stories but it was really difficult to get through the entire thing. Main character is so pitifully helpless I couldn’t stand her.
