Insurgent & Divergent are great sci-fi books. Written for teens they have the feeling of the Hunger Games but are uniquely their own. Great to listen to and really makes you think.....can a eutopia ever really be reached?

Awesome Sequel!
I really enjoyed this book. The first book Divergent was great, but Insurgent was even better. Continuing off where the first book ended, the action is fast paced and the story continues to develop well. The ending was done really well, it sets the scene so that book 3 could take us anywhere. This could easily become a series with several books in it.
One of the better narrators that I have listened to, Emma does excellent voices and is enjoyable to listen to. Keep the coming!

Awesome; Amazing!!! Just as good - No; Better than the first book!
If you haven't read Book 1 (Divergent) in a while, though, make sure you do a quick brush up on your characters. I stumbled in the beginning trying to remember who everyone was since the author immediately starts throwing names your way without a ton of background reminders.
Other than that, I LOVED the entire adventure!

Where does Insurgent rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I have listened to hundreds of audiobooks, and this definitely ranks among the top of my list.
What other book might you compare Insurgent to and why?
The Hunger Games
Have you listened to any of Emma Galvin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, in Divergent, she did an outstanding job; and she was even better in Insurgent.

Divergent was awesome too! The characters were so real, I am sad that I have finished the second book. I am anxiously waiting for the next one in this series.

very long but good nonetheless
I liked the book although it wasnt as gripping as the first. It droned on a bit but i enjoyed the ending.

Entertaining
The book seems to mimic the television series The tribe. The story is entertaining but nothing special. But interresting enough to make me listen to all three books :)

Good.. a lot of arguing though.
I really enjoyed the first Divergent book, however this one felt like most of it was arguing between tris and four, tris and Marcus, tris and whoever.

very good dystopian story
This was my first dystopian novel, very interesting and extremely well narrated. I enjoyed the stories very much and stayed interested throughout both of the series.
