Lol Funny with Dark Situations

First- Angel Clark does a PERFECT job as Avery. She captures Avery’s immature side well. I love how Avery is so full of herself but gets her comeuppance often. She does seem more reflective/self-aware as the stories progress. This is my second time through the series of 20+ books.

Fun stories

The stories were great, but the audio editing could use a little work. There are multiple repetitive lines throughout the books.

Interesting storylines, frustrating editin

I actually am enjoying this series, which at first I didn’t think I could keep with it. The biggest frustration was, as others have stated, is the poor editing of the audio. The first couple of times I thought I had backed up the audio and was hearing a repeat. I knew it was like a skipping record when it happened over and over. As a paying customer, that’s just a poor product delivery.

The editing

There are a lot of repeats in this reading, whom ever edited it did not do a very good job. It a good thing the books themselves are so good.

Enjoyable Series

This is an enjoyable series. It is a typical light hearted chic lit book series. The characters are fun to follow and will make you laugh out loud. It is not trashy or over sexually oriented, you don't have to worry if your kids hear you listening to the books.

Excellent

This storyline was excellent. The best of this series. Angel Clark’s portrayal of the large cast of characters was outstanding.

Good Story & Narration

Avery’s life is a mess, and who does like her if anyone. From the new publisher and the staff at the newspaper, to her love life. Enjoyable and with good narration. Given audio for my voluntary review

My favorite series

Love the characters, the banter, the stories. Narrator does good male voices. Got to be hard to pull off without sounding ridiculous. At least I know my Avery voice is. I've said too much.

Continues to be funny and full of crap

This book contains books 4 – 6. The hilarious adventures of Avery Shaw continues. She exasperates everyone with her crazy immature antics. Her aggressiveness to get the stories first, from the print media reporters is only slightly less murderous as she is toward television media reporters.

She takes malicious glee keeping conflict with her cousin, Derrick’s girlfriend and her former boyfriend, Jake Farwell former girlfriend who are both television news anchors.

Elliot, her boyfriend is driven mad with her reckless exploits which puts her in constant danger. What Elliot puts up for sex is just hysterical. Every Friday takes glee to raise her mother’s blood pressure with her tee shirts with the sexual connotations.
If you like the earlier books, you will surely enjoy these.
