Jerry Dotts is a boy in Oakley Doakley School in Doakley. He longs to be up in the clouds, on the silver biscuit in the sky. Every day he dreams about reaching the moon, meeting aliens which could be any shape, any size, talk any language, and do different things. Jerry is so prepared: he’s made himself a space suit out of foil and old pyjamas. One day he receives a message from the aliens that lands in his back garden! He must get a message back, but how?!
