Yvonne Marie, MEd, is an author, artist, poet, and teacher. She has spent most of her adult life serving in Christian ministries such as worship, discipleship, leadership, and women’s ministries. With a master’s degree in education from Goucher College as well as over two decades of teaching and ministry experience, she has developed the ability to effectively communicate biblical truths into practical life applications. She also works as an associate professor teaching freshmen college students the joy of composing a valid, worthy, and credible argument. Yvonne Marie is married to a very handsome and highly skilled photographer and they have two remarkable sons.

In Kill the Busy Save the Bee, Yvonne Marie encourages her listeners to discover the value of solitude, the importance of surrendering, and the significant transformation that can take place when an intentional effort is made to personally know Jesus. I absolutely loved it! I'm inspired by the bee analogy. There are so many gems and nuggets for me to implement to be more productive. I felt like she was in my livingroom talking directly to me.

Yvonne Marie brings Psalm 46 to life. Her impeccable reading makes it very pleasant to listen to all the 3 hours of the book. Wonderful! i highly recommend it for anyone who wants to trust God and kill the busyness, but be productive,.still.

This book challenged me to draw closer to God

Before I even talk about the content of the book, let me comment on the narrators voice. It was so rich in character and very theatrical in a positive way. She brought the message to life. Couldn’t stop listening.

The message of the book is clear and simple. The author used various analogies i.e, the bee, marriage and others to demonstrate the importance of spending time with God. I myself can identify with the busy bee analogy. I’m thankful for the practical solutions this book provides to help “kill the busy” and draw
Closer to God. I’m encouraged to know that I’m not the only one who struggles with busyness. I now know how to overcome it. Thanks to this book! I will highly recommend this book! Great read!

This book is a must read for sure! Yvonne Marie's honesty and transparency is refreshing and so appreciated. Her wonderful use of scripture along with the analogy with bees is not only unique but inspiring. Unlike anything I've read before! Beautiful Message - Beautiful Voice

Yvonne Marie lays out all the things that keep us too busy to pursue intimacy with our Heavenly Father. Then she masterfully illustrates each point with facts about bees. I read the book first. But listening to it being read by the author in her beautiful voice was a treat!! Great book and listen!
