Slow burn heaven
A bit slow but the build up is so worth the wait. This book will take you up and down on an emotional roller coaster from mad to happy to sad to heck yeah he deserves it don’t skip the epilogue you will regret it if you do

Better than book one
This is just so good and a fantastic follow up to the first book and the narration is so good it almost makes you forget your listening to a book and I’m so glad I got to listen to this

Teamwork makes the dream work!!
Anubis and Vivian finally get their act together and start operating as a team. The dialogue between the characters is amusing and witty. It was great to see Vivian become more self assured and confident which allowed her to take care of a long overdue problem. However, this also sets her up to become more of a target. Anubis finally realizes that there is more than one way to approach a situation. There are plenty of grey areas and not everything is black or white. Can’t wait for the resolution of this series. Logan McAllister and Vivienne Ferrari were good narrators who made this an enjoyable listening experience.
