Publisher's summary

Kissing her best friend's brother never felt so right...

Sela Sullivan is resolved to be the best maid of honor ever, even if it means tolerating the best man. Insufferable, too-handsome Luke Watters is not only the guy who humiliated her at a kissing booth in high school, but he also happens to be her best friend's older brother. Positive he's the same arrogant jock, Sela vows to focus on her duties and steer clear of the frustrating - and frustratingly tempting - Luke.

As a world-renowned extreme-sports photographer, Luke is used to undertaking life-risking adventures. But risking his heart for the beautiful Sela Sullivan, who clearly still hates him for his rejection all those years ago? He didn't see that coming. Sela inspires a passion he's never known, and the more time they spend together, the more he craves her. But can he prove to the maid of honor he's become a man of honor?

Fabulous story!

I have read the book previously a couple of times and won a copy of the audible book. This did not disappoint. I could easily follow along with the story. The narrator did a great job doing the different voices. I laughed during some of the scenes and sighed in others. The story just pulled me in again. This was my first audible book and such a pleasant experience, I may have to try it again.

The male voice is awful

I liked the story well enough, but the way she does a male voice is very distracting. Maybe I’m just used to other women narrators using deeper male voices. This one sounded like a prepubescent teenage boy. I honestly would have preferred that she hadn’t tried to use a male voice at all. Then it wouldn’t have been so grating.

Loved it!

This is the book that got me hooked on Robin Bielman's books. I love a second chance at love story and Luke and Sela have a good one! Due to an incident when they were teenagers, Sela wants to stay as far away from Luke as she can, well, sort of!!

I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy listening to the audiobook since I had previously read the novel in print. However, the reading by Carly Robins took me right back into Luke and Sela's romance, reminding me why I enjoyed the book in the first place. I'll more than likely listen to it again!

Robin has a way with words, especially in dialogue between her characters. Whether in print or through audio, you can't help but enjoy her stories. I recommend this one!!

Sweet story

Narrator cannot do male voices. Female parts a great. I enjoyed the story very much. Not full of graphic sex. I get so tired of getting into what seems will be a good one and then they go at each other in such graphic detail its embarrassing. No swearing here either. No drugs , murder rape, etc. Finally an author that likes to tell a sweet story of positive characters who have jobs, loving families, etc. Thanks Robin Bielman

Cute Story

3.75 Stars for me

I did enjoy the story and liked that it was relatively low angst and drama. There is a lot of push/pull and some communication issues but it is a romance. This is technically a slow burn but both are lost for each other from the beginning of the story.

The sister and brother are both a bit selfish but everything works out in the end. 💐❤️😁.

For those that like fade to black in the bedroom, this could be your story although it is still between PG13 and R.

Loved it!!

What did you love best about Kissing the Maid of Honor?

Sela has a chance with her childhood crush, Luke. Both are in the wedding party of Luke's sister. Luke is a photographer that travels and Sela is a pediatric nurse at the local hospital. This is great romance story of renewed friendship between the two. Highly recommend for a light fun romance, let the imagination flow.

I had already read this book when it first came out, but it was so much fun to listen to the book, brought so much more out of story. Loved the chemistry between these two, Luke brought Sela out of her comfort zone. Loved the kissing booth.

Luke and Sela brought smiles to face while walking each day. I really enjoyed the narration by Carly Robins.

Voices

The only thing was the mens voices didn’t sound like men really. But loved the story!

good story

I really liked this story. Would like to see how they got along later in life, but I often want more to stories I enjoy never want them to end.

fun book

I enjoyed the characters. They had personality, humor, intelligence and it made the book so much better to listen to. Also, Carly Robin's did a good job on narration.
