About this listen

Kitty has been tapped as the keynote speaker for the First International Conference on Paranatural Studies, taking place in London. The conference brings together scientists, activists, protestors, and supernatural beings from all over the world - and Kitty, Ben, and Cormac are right in the middle of it.Master vampires from dozens of cities have also gathered in London for a conference of their own. With the help of the Master of London, Kitty gets more of a glimpse into the Long Game - a power struggle among vampires that has been going on for centuries - than she ever has before.

In her search for answers, Kitty has the help of some old allies and meets some new ones, such as Caleb, the alpha werewolf of the British Isles. The conference has also attracted some old enemies, who've set their sights on Kitty and her friends.

All the world's a stage, and Kitty's just stepped into the spotlight.

Great addition to the series!!!

I love the series and this book is another great addition. This story is classic Kitty. I loved the book and the only thing wrong with it is that I was left wanting more after I finished it... When is the next book coming out???

More of the same

The book was much like the others in the series I think if it was longer it would be better but still entertaining.

Kitty Steals The Show

I really loved this installment of the series. In this book Kitty gets some new allies via some old ones. Kitty blows the doors off the "long game". I won't give anything away here. Lots of laughs and her usual snark. You get to see a softer side of Cormac also.

Ooops, a few mistakes,!!!

Very very surprised to hear Ms. Gavin slip up a few times while working. Several times I heard her refer to Luis as Louis, and towards the end describing "umpire" dresses! But hey we all make mistakes, and her narration is consistently awesome. Great book,!!!?/

Kitty is so cool!

Where does Kitty Steals the Show rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Its great...and I have listened to a LOT of books!!!! MG's narration is always perfect in my book!!!!

What other book might you compare Kitty Steals the Show to and why?

The Kitty series is similar to the Night huntress series...but great as is....it can stand alone...Kitty is so cool!

Which scene was your favorite?

I liked her interviews....and when they saved Tyler....but I really loved the whole book!!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Same as the Title...this would make a good movie....all her books would!!!

Any additional comments?

I hope there are more Kitty books, I loved this one...and she still has more to say I think...she has grown so much, and is truly an inspiration....I love Ben, and I love Cormac...I think this is one of my ATF series so far....and has left me wanting more!!!

Book 10 is as good as book 1 with a lot of growth

What made the experience of listening to Kitty Steals the Show the most enjoyable?

I have read all 10 of Carrie Vaughn novel and loved them all. She mixes humor with fun Urban Fantasy. The voice of the reader sound just like I pictured Kitty sounding in my head. I want to listen to the next one in the series. I also bought the book for my kindle because it was so good I wanted to read it as well. The trip to London made the city come alive for me. Yet held the air of a con or convention. The all tied up with too many people feel. I loved the story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Kitty Steals the Show?

Kitty interaction with Cormac and how his sprit guide she is also coming to grips with and the fact she has a healthy relationship with Ben and of coarse the point of the novel, TALK first before acting Kitty secret weapon is talking. Love that.

Which character – as performed by Marguerite Gavin – was your favorite?

Kitty rocked and Maquerite had her down pat. She made Kitty come alive also Cormac and Emilia inside Cormac.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me Laugh out load. And I listen to the whole story in a long day on the computer working I didn't want to leave the story for a minute.

Any additional comments?

Just listen and let it blow your mind at how good it is.

A good addition to the series

I have read all of the books in this series and look forward to the next one. Although it didn't have a lot of action it continues to move toward the big theme of the "Long Game". I look forward to reading the next one.

Excellent installment for the series.

This book had a great balance of action and contemplation, just as all the best books in this series have.
