Babysitters club review

I love this series. I could read it all day long. I really think this is funny and so much more

It was wonderful to revisit my childhood.

I really enjoyed revisiting my childhood through listening to the first book in the Babysitters club series. It was a simple easy going performance. I look forward to the next one.

Oh the memories

When I was a child, I loved the Babysitters Club books. I devoured them. I read those, along with the Super Specials, Mysteries, Little Sister book, etc. In fact, I still have all of them to this day in paperback. They were such a big part of my love of reading, I could not part with them. So now that they have come out on Audiobook, I had to check them out. As it turns out, I am not too old to enjoy them. It kind of felt like going home again.

Kristy's Great Idea is the book that started it all. Book 1. The beginning of an era for me. In this book, 12 year old Kristy and her 12 year old friends, Mary Anne, Claudia, and Stacey start a babysitting club. They figure out positions, Kristy is the President, Claudia the Vice President, Mary Anne the Secretary, and Stacey the Treasurer.

This book was a quick listen at only 2 hours and 44 minutes. The narrator was good. She is believable as a 12 year old girl.

I am rating this as 5 stars simply because of nostalgia. I recommend these books to all children who enjoy reading about girls in a club, friendship, and babysitting.

I Love This!! 😘

Book number one in this series. I loved it!! Brings me back to my “tween” years (except there was no name for it back then). A real laugh out loud story, and I giggled all the way through.

Elle Fanning does a wonderful job with the narration.

These are relatively short stories and relatively inexpensive as well. I don’t know, maybe I will treat myself to one episode a month, until I get all (131?) of these fun little stories…☺️

Nostalgia

I love how nostalgic this was. I really enjoyed hearing Elle Fanning reading it too.

Childhood Revisited

I've loved this series since I was a kid. It's so fun to listen to them again!

Nice to see what these books were like.

Grew up around the time these books came out. Narration is great, though I'm a bit confused on why they started out with one, and switched to different ones depending on who's POV it was. I'll see about the others eventually.
