Everything is figureoutable.” Whether you want to leave a dead end job, break an addiction, learn to dance, heal a relationship, or grow a business, Everything is Figureoutable will show you how.

After appearing on The Apprentice years ago and receiving a flood of letters from young women asking for guidance, I realized the need for more female leaders to speak out publicly in order to change the way society thinks and talks about "women who work". So I created a forum to do just that. This book evolves the conversation that started on IvankaTrump.com, where so many incredible women (and men!) have shared their experiences, advice, ambitions, and passions.

In our culture, there is a premium placed on finding our passion, as though somehow once we've found it, our lives will finally start to come together as we've always imagined. Resumen del Editor
Today’s professional women are tired of feeling pressured to lean in and have it all. Mainstream messages have turned our choice to pursue professional achievement into a directive. As a result, many of us are chasing after careers and accomplishments that we may not truly want, at the cost of our families, health, and happiness.
Instead of striving to have it all, it’s time to have just what we want. In Leaning Out, self-proclaimed “average” working woman Monica Pierce:
- Shares her own story of how her professional ambition changed, once she admitted she didn’t actually want to “have it all”
- Highlights thought-provoking connections to scientific, philosophical, and social concepts that explain why so many of us are reluctant to lean in
- Offers plenty of insight and practical tips to help you right-size your life
Leaning Out is a must-listen for women who are tired of today’s one-sided messages and looking for an alternative perspective.

Historia
For young professionals and entrepreneurs, there is no shortage of gurus, processes, and quick-fix formulas to chase in the quest to grow their business, lead their team, and find personal fulfillment. In fact, there are so many out there that it's exhausting. Wouldn't it be better to realize that the leadership lessons we need to learn are not out there somewhere but in here, in our own lives? That instead of becoming a knock-off of someone else, we can be uniquely ourselves?

These questions are not uncommon and are asked by thousands of people every day. In our hectic lives, we have to spend most of our time focusing on the external aspects: finishing a work deadline, worrying about relationships, the mortgage, the kids - it's no wonder we can't find the time to sleep!

It's only because they like me. I was in the right place at the right time. I just work harder than the others. I don't deserve this. It's just a matter of time before I am found out. Someone must have made a terrible mistake. If you are a working woman, chances are this internal monologue sounds all too familiar. And you're not alone. A shocking number of accomplished women in all career paths and at every level feel as though they are faking it - impostors in their own lives and careers.

Wow there’s a book on Leaning out!
I read this because I had read Leaning In. Both are great depending on where you are in life but it is a good option to see how you can live both ways in your one life!
