He never stopped the chase

What is liked was the most was the narration loved the slow burn of the story. I totally recommend this book.

The Second Book Redeemed the Awful First

When I reviewed the first book in the series, I gave it a low rating because I could not stand Skyler or Brandon. Both of them just got on my nerves, especially Skyler because she was so ungrateful.

This book surprised me because I liked it very much. In fact, it took me about a day and a half to finish it. Skyler wasn’t as annoying in this book and I totally get the love they have for each other, even though a lot of times it seemed more like lust.

There were a lot of shocking moments and the last 45 minutes of the book made me really sad for both characters. I’m looking forward to the conclusion of the story. The only thing that I wish about this book is that we could have listened to Aaron Shedlock more other than the prologue and epilogue. CJ Bloom did an incredible job.

YES !!

Listening to CJ and Aaron was like watching a film of this book. These characters are complicated and emotional this audiobook brought that across loud and clear.

Love the books!!!

I am so in love with Brandon and Skyler! They are fire you guys! Going back to the last book that ended on a cliffy (spoiler alert!!! this one ends on a cliffy too) it doesn't have a complete wrap up in this book.... yes you find out what happens with it, but there is a lot more to it that really doesn't get touched on until the end of this book and the complete wrap up in in the 3rd book! But these 2 are 100% worth the wait and drama it takes to get there!

Narration

I’m really disappointed that the narration of this story was misleading. The male narrator for this story spoke for 5 minutes. Once at the beginning and against the end. That was it. In my opinion, it was a waste to have him even included.

Cliffhanger

C J Bloom did a great job but very much disappointed because we never heard the male narrator. Disappointed Brandon expressed so much love and support to Skyler I don’t believe he should ever forgive her decision because he had a right to know. Skyler is supposed to be this knowledgeable person she acted quite stupidly in all her decisions, I don’t feel sorry for her.

TOO LONG!

The story so far is ok, but for what it’s about, they are entirely too long. Also spoiler: I love Bloom, but I would have loved to hear more of Aaron. Not Fair

The Hypocrisy

I wasn't sure I'd listen to this 2nd book, and after only getting 10 chapters in I quit!!!! I hate what a hypocrite Skylar is.. Spoiler Warning... The complete nerve of her to berate him for wanting to help her, and for the secrets he kept, all the while knowing she killed their child was keeping it from him, was WRONG.. There is nothing worse than a hypocrite/liar....I'm done with this story....

Narrators do great, the heroine is still rough

Soooo, this one is better than the first once you reach the 3/4 mark, but that beginning is ROUGH. The heroine makes a decision that REALLY should have been discussed with the guy first, but by the end its discussed alright,... and it doesnt end well, but the guy FINALLY gets tired of her crap. The third book is the best btw. if you can make it there, that third book ties everything together and definitely deserves 5 stars. The spicey scenes are outstanding btw!
