À peine capable de parler ou de s’occuper de lui-même quand il a été retrouvé, il est perçu comme un simplet par la communauté. Mais alors que ses souvenirs refont surface, Rik délivre un curieux et mystérieux message : les Floriniens sont tous condamnés et les courants dans l’espace apporteront bientôt ruine et destruction.
