Beliefs are very powerful. When you change your beliefs, you change your behavior and thus your outcomes. This is not some new age feel-good idea. There is solid research to back this up. I'll give you two examples. Gunder Hägg, a Swedish athlete, held the record for the one-mile run at 4:01.4, which he achieved on July 17, 1945. It took nine years for that record to be broken. On May 6, 1954, Roger Bannister broke that record and ran the one mile at 3:59.4. Only two months later, that record was broken, and every few years since then the record is set lower and lower.

Americans wage many of today’s fiercest policy debates and culture wars over constitutional meaning. It’s because constitutional law is so fundamental to our democracy that law schools across the country teach the subject. It's the area of law that determines what federal and state governments are permitted to do, and what rights you have as an individual citizen of the US. Here, you'll get the same accessible, well-rounded introduction to constitutional law as a typical law student - but with the added benefit of noted constitutional scholar Eric Berger's brilliant insights.

Story
Written by students, for students, Law School Confidential has been the "must-have" guide for anyone thinking about, applying to, or attending law school for more than a decade. And now, in this newly revised third edition, it's more valuable than ever. This isn't the advice of graying professors or battle-scarred practitioners long removed from law school. Robert H. Miller has assembled a blue-ribbon panel of recent graduates from across the country to offer realistic and informative firsthand advice about what law school is really like.

Story
Best-selling social historian Charles Murray has written a delightfully fussy - and entertaining - book on the hidden rules of the road in the workplace - and in life - from the standpoint of an admonishing, but encouraging, workplace grouch and taskmaster. Why the curmudgeon? The fact is that most older, more senior people in the workplace are closet curmudgeons. In today's politically correct world, they may hide their displeasure over your misuse of grammar or your overly familiar use of their first name without an express invitation. But don't be fooled by their pleasant demeanor....

But if you’ve ever wished you could communicate more effectively, words are the place to start. It’s incumbent upon you to choose the best words to accomplish your goals, because how you choose to communicate influences—well, everything! Perfect tool for tutors
Any additional comments?
Let’s LSAT is packed with lots of helpful tips for scoring high on the LSAT exam. I'm a tutor and many of my students found tons of useful techniques and felt a big advantage taking the test because of this tool. It helped with their logic and problem solving skills. The LSAT can be a really stressful time for students and Let’s LSAT gives them an extra layer of confidence that got them to the finish line.

Not a replacement for a study course ( as the author points out) but very useful. All the little things the night not come up in a formal course but from informal conversations with your friends who took the LSAT - except these friends all scored in the 99th percentile!

VERY Helpful little audibook
What made the experience of listening to Let's LSAT the most enjoyable?
I listened to this audiobook on my IPhone while taking the subway or walking to work. The tips are short and concise, so you can stop at any point and later pick right back up.
The tips are extremely helpful.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me realize that you can break the LSAT down into small little chunks, and that makes the whole process so much easier.

If you're thinking it's just tips, think again.
If you could sum up Let's LSAT in three words, what would they be?
Let's Lsat is much more than tips. It is easy to remember bit of information that are applicable and super helpful. I've read some other general tips books on the LSAT but they don't offer nearly as much diversified info and ideas that you really won't find anywhere else.

well written
Would you consider the audio edition of Let's LSAT to be better than the print version?
I used this audiobook as a supplement (I used the Manhattan LSAT books) when I was studying for the LSAT I purposely waited to write this review after I get my LSAT score back. I got a 177! I used the study guides as the meat and potatoes of my studying, this book as an "easy" listen (and read) in my car, as well as the unorthodox LSAT reading comprehension course. All of that added up to my score, which I am obvioulsy happy about. Since this review is about this book, a little bit about what I specifically liked about it. For one, you hear a variety of different perspectives, with some of them clicking extremly well. Second, there are tips about how to study, and how to deal with test anxiety. Third, in a quick two hours you can review almost every aspect of the test (I cummuted to work an hour each way) and that was very helpful. Good luck to the next generation of test takers!
