Cute, quirky, charming
If you’re looking for low stress and high comfort, this book is like a warm hug, truly. This is my first intro into Jenny Colgan and I was not disappointed. Narrator did lovely on Polly’s POV but the accents and male narrations were hard to listen to.

Great story probably better read
This was a great light romance. I love the baking theme with it. Loved the characters. The person reading had terrible voices. It made it hard to listen to.

Lovely story; needs a better narrator.
The story is lovely, with great descriptions of the land and sea. Some of the characters need more in depth development, a little less absurdity, though this is possibly due to the tone of narration. The narrator does well enough with the female voices, but is dreadful with the male ones, especially Huckle’s “southern” accent. Possibly think of using a male for those characters in the future?
