Love this book! personal finance that makes sense

I really loved listening to this book. Kim shows you step by step how to live, save, spend and then repeat. The title is sooooo clever and it really shows what the book is about. I also loved that she, the real Kim, is talking to you. I have listened to her podcasts before and she is so enthusiastic! This book is fun to listen! Listening to her stories, that you also can relate, you learn how to set up a budget, how to find opportunities to save, how the spend wisely and also how to live with a content heart. I truly recommend this book if you are looking to sort your finances at home.

Decent financial advise for a particular audience

This book presents several reasonable and effective strategies for improving your finances. There's a lot of emphasis on setting goals and learning to be happier without spending tons of money. If the phrase "envelope system" is familiar to you, though, you're not going to find a lot of new material in this book.

This book also has a very specific audience in mind - evangelical christian housewives. The author falls squarely in that demographic, and she assumes that you do too. If you listen to this book, expect to hear a lot of bible verses and tips for finding designer purses on the cheap.
