Real, practical inspiration!

Really enjoyed this story. It's real life, no holding back here. Painful injuries and mistakes do not define you and that's Noah's message. What defines you is moving forward and attacking life all the while being thankful for all you have. That's what I got from Noah's message. Highly recommend this audiobook!

Raw Honesty!!

This is a fascinating story, told in the author's pure, unadulterated, voice. The humility, courage, honesty, and humanity are both bracing and engaging.

Not what you expect but far better

Noah Galloway essentially has delivered a book that says " If your gonna like me like me for who I really am and not who you may think I am". This book is so interesting not because it's about his overcoming physical challenges but his honesty about his struggles as a man, husband, father and with his own personality. In the end its not so much about overcoming as coming to grips.

A bad ass with a heart!

It held my attention from the beginning to end. Simple(in language, not in content), honest, real, and relatable in the struggle of the author to overcome physical and emotional turmoil. The way in which Noah tells his life's experience opens a portal into his perfectly imperfect world...and his continued effort to bring the best into his and his family's lives. The best part of this book was hearing the author read his story. His emphasis, voice, and accent made the book that much more real and relatable.

Thanks for being a bad ass with a heart! Real men cry. I have always been a highly sensitive person and would get choked up at movies, commercials and several times during this book. As a child when I started to show the emotions I felt, I was told to, "get tough and suck it up". That life long lesson has torn me up in many ways not necessary to state here. At any rate, a studly man like yourself, showing emotion some how makes me feel better about getting dewey eyes on occasion.

What an adventure!!

Noah's story is fantastic! I couldn't stop listening. I hate that he had to endure so many bad things.....but he has made all of those negative things into great experiences! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to what he has going on with his next adventure! Thank you Noah for your service and you are paying it forward in every sense of the term!!

Excellent Biography

Having seen Noah Galloway on Dancing with the Stars, I was anxious to learn more about him. I was not disappointed. The Audible book was excellent. Usually, when authors narrate their books, I am disappointed. Mr. Galloway was the perfect narrator, his slight southern accent made the book even better.
