Julian

If I ever caught on fire, Dahlia Muñoz would fan the flames with a smile. So, when she returns to Lake Wisteria, I fully intend to avoid the interior designer. At least until my meddling mother exploits my savior complex.

The faster I help Dahlia find her creative spark, the sooner she will leave town. But while I was busy getting rid of Dahlia, I overlooked one potential issue. What happens if I want her to stay?

Dahlia

People say the devil has many faces, but I know only one. Julian Lopez—my childhood rival and family frenemy. I vow to steer clear of him while recovering from my broken engagement, but then the billionaire makes an irresistible offer. Renovate a historic house together and triple our profits.

Our temporary truce becomes compromised as we face years’ worth of denied attraction and mixed emotions. Giving into our desire is inevitable...but falling in love? That isn’t part of the plan.

Love Redesigned is a steamy small-town romance about two family friends-turned-childhood rivals. It is the first book in the stand-alone Lakefront Billionaires series and has a happy ending.

A wonderful audiobook and riveting story by Lauren Asher!

5⭐️!!! (ALC Review)

Love Redesigned might be my favorite Lauren Asher book! After falling in love with her storytelling in the Dreamland Billionaires series, she quickly became an autobuy author. Love Redesigned was one of my most anticipated reads of the year, and it delivered in every way I wanted and more.

I listened to LR as an audiobook primarily, and I need to say… the narrators!! Even when I had the paperback in my hands, I kept gravitating towards the audiobook —I could not stop listening. The storytelling, emotion, and cadence, made this audiobook one of my favorites! I highly recommend it. The Spanish was impeccable, and the Duet narration >>>>> This one is the perfect romance audiobook🤍

Dahlia and Julian’s story is riveting and completely intoxicating. The childhood rivals/frenemies to lovers was executed flawlessly. I read second-chance very often, but this book made me want to read more. The groveling, the bickering, the tension. I could talk for hours about the TENSION throughout Love Redesigned. The angst, and anger —fit perfectly for a second chance rivals to lovers stody— made me feel every single emotion. And more times than I can count, I found myself gripping my chest or tearing up.

I love Dahlia’s character. It’s refreshing to see mental health representation in the way that Lauren Asher portrayed it through Dahlia. Dahlia struggles with depression, and tells her story throughout Love, Redesigned. But most notably, you see her struggle to heal. I think it’s refreshing to see a character go through their healing journey and realize it’s not linear. Lauren Asher gave breath, and most importantly, depth to her character’s healing journey, and it was not only refreshing, but also beautifully written.

Julian!!! Where do I start… The man that he is. Julian had his own healing journey to go through, notably from grief. He spends so much of the book groveling, and trying to earn Dahlia’s trust again, after he pushed her away years prior. He doubles down on Dahlia, and makes his intentions know. He does the sweetest things for her (truly insanely sweet, of a magnitude fit only for a billionaire✨), but more than his actions, his presence speaks volumes. He supports Dahlia in the way she needs, and reassures her when she needs it. He’s just perfect.

A lot needs to be said for the side-characters and new world in this series! The best part about this story (aside from the main couple and characters) was the family. This book made me feel like I was at home. The mothers!!!! Chismosas for life!!! It gave such a home-like feel to the story. To see family so intricately weaved throughout. And last but not least, Rafa. I was pining for his story from the second he was introduced. I cannot describe how excited I am to read his story. Single dad? Sign me up!

Overall, this book was everything. I will be rereading and relistening to this DELECTABLE book so soon! Thank you to Lauren Asher and Valentine PR for this ALC copy. I’m #1 fan always🤍

A Solid Romance

Love Redesigned is the first book in a new series. It’s a solid romance story. Dahlia and Julian’s story is a second chance romance. The beginning was slow, but the last 45% of the book was so good! I love how both Dahlia and Julian grew as characters separately and as a couple. I appreciated that Lauren Asher took care with Dahlia’s fertility, and Julian’s desire not to have biological children. The book was good.

Five stars may not be enough!

I read Love Redesigned twice, so you’d think I was more than familiar with the book. Which, in fairness, I totally was. But this audiobook added so much to the experience that I can honestly say I need Julian Lopez in my life. Boyfriend, husband, friend with benefits, whatever he wants to be, I’m game.

Noah B. Perez and Vanessa Vasquez were perfect.

Love Redesigned is the story of Julian and Dahlia, who grew up together. They’ve been pushing each other since they were kids, competing and annoying each other to infinity. Mostly to hide their true feelings because these two have been pining for each other basically since they were born!

Dahlia comes back home to Lake Wisteria when she ends her 9-year relationship. She needs the comfort of home and family, but Julian is also there. And when they meet, everything comes back. To both of them.

Noah is perfect from the get-go. He perfectly embodies Julian’s grumpy, detached side and how much he wants to see Dahlia while making it seem like he dislikes her. And Vanessa portrays Dahlia to a T, not letting him get away with anything.

Do you like banter and the push-and-pull of frenemies to lovers? If so, you need this audiobook! Stat!

They get together to renovate a house, and that brings them closer than they thought possible. With a little help from Julian’s mom (Vanessa did a great job with their voices!), they end up in a hotel room with only one bed.
We all know where that’s going. Right?

They have a friends-with-benefits situation, which is meant to be temporary, but that would never work because the way they feel for each other doesn’t have an expiration date. This book is a mix of nostalgia from the past and longing for a future together, and it gets me in my feels.

Noah does an amazing job with Julian’s anxiety and regret. With his nostalgia. With his pros and cons lists. With the way he talks to and about Dahlia and is there for her. He made it impossible not to fall for Mr. Lopez, while Vanessa makes you want to be Dahlia.
The Spanish expressions and accents are absolutely spot on, and if I already loved them in writing, I loved them even more in audio.

And that ending… I fell in love with their love. I can’t recommend this audiobook enough!

What a fantastic narration!!!

this was my first Lauren Asher book and it was absolute perfection! all the heart eyes. Dahlia & Julian have known each other since childhood and there is so much tension and rivalry between them. you could feel it off the pages. we love a rich, grumpy mmc!! I swear I eat that up. this book had me super engaged the whole time. I felt like I could not get enough of it. I loved how much of the family support we got to see and feel throughout this book. someone take me to lake wisteria asap because now I want to go live there. Julian was such a top tier book boyfriend and he is there is stay. this was such a great first book in a series & now I cannot wait to go back and read the rest of her books. we love to see a healing journey for the characters and this gave you what you wanted. I al already listening to the audio of it and it's *perfection*!

great start to a new series

It took me a little while to get into this book, and it took a while for Julian to grow on me, but I ended up enjoying this book overall.

I am all about a second chance romance. That trope never fails to hit me with all of the feels and this one wasn't any different. Julian and Dahlia's back and forth banter throughout the book was pretty funny. I enjoyed the scenes where their families were interacting with them all together as well.

I enjoyed the cameos that we got to see from the Dreamland Billionaires series. It was nice to see some of those characters again. I can't wait to see what the next book in this series will bring!

This was my first time listening to both of these narrators and I enjoyed their performance. They sounded great together, made even better by this being recorded in duet narration. I'm looking forward to listening to more books narrated by these two narrators.

Freaking loved it !!!

I really loved the book ! The Spanish in it was great, the characters were relatable, and story overall enjoyed it ! I can picture this as a novela or an episode of La Rosa de Guadalupe (Iykyk).

I have previously read the dreamland billionaire series and got to say I was very unexpectedly surprised with lakefront billionaires! I thought that the two love interest were perfect and as a fellow Latina loved how much of their culture was represented in the story. Loved loved loved and I’m so looking forward to the next one!

I’m so happy that I got the audiobook because the narrators it really did a fantastic job hooked to the story!
