Finally, their HEA!
Finally, Olivia Dane and Logan Graham are able to share their relationship in public and they don't have to hide anymore. In fact, their appearance on a talk show presented them to the world as a couple. Now Revival's manager, as well as Logan's girlfriend, it's up to her to make sure the band is ready to tour again. In Scotland, she spends time with the other members of the band and notices that, at times, they act a little hostile toward her. And their behavior! She tries to find the humor in dealing with adult males who insist on acting like frat boys. The court case against Olivia's boss, Marshall, is getting a little tense because the other women who accused him of harassment are beginning to get cold feet. Olivia's main concern is the band and improving their image after the fiasco with Ashton. Much to her surprise, the gossip columns are writing articles about Logan's and her relationship, wondering if it isn't just a ploy by Olivia to draw attention to her. Even though Logan tells her, and keeps reminding her, that the rags are full of lies, they've already affected her and she's beginning to question whether or not she's good for Logan. When a beautiful woman shows up at practice and the band are so excited to see her, Olivia comes to the false conclusion that she's holding Logan back and walks away from him. I was devastated more than I should have been and upset with Olivia for being so terrribly short-sighted, but that shows how good writing can pull you right into the story. It is a riveting book that I read in the future, when I have a particular need for a rock star in my life! Might there be an ENCORE for Olivia and Logan?
Aubrey Parsons IS Logan Graham. After a trilogy of stories with Aubrey giving voice to the characters, male and female, his narration is rock star quality!
