This is my first series by this author and she didn't disappoint! The first book was hard to get into, but the story definitely picks up. So many twists and turns! I really enjoyed the pere cheney bits because I grew up and still live and work by there. Lots of locals have story's of encounters with the witch or other scary things plus it really is creepy out there so it fit the storyline perfect for me.

Loved the story, but have so many questions
I yelled and screamed at Savannah the whole book series. Definitely enjoyed the support characters like Samantha and Casey. I did enjoy Savannah and Jackson dynamic. More of my frustration came from the whole spoiler ahead…
Fated mate scenario where they both were fighting it, especially an Alpha, like that just made no sense to me. And I get the HEA for the main couple, but I am so curious as to how they’ll relate to Samantha’s kidnapping by the villain they’ve been battling for 2.5 books. Which is the premise of the next series with Samantha and the Dark wolf God.

Wish it Continued
Great story! Sometimes the narration sounded a little robotic or like it had been slowed down or altered at some point, but usually it was wonderful! Great story, characters, and voices! Really loved having two voices for narration, a real treat! Story was interesting and I found myself up waay too late a few times!
