my kids love these

my children (8 and under) love these books, and I have grown to appreciate the stories. the author does not shy from some pretty big subjects, and handles them very well for young readers. I definitely recommend. also great for a family listen in the car.

Great for kids!

This is a wonderful, imaginative series that my 6-year old just loves to listen to as we're driving around! It has also peaked his interest in getting the actual books and he is eager to learn to read them on his own. Definately recommended!

Awesome Narrator and Great for Road trips!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely, my boys (both age 5) have loved listening to the audiobooks of The Magic Treehouse! The narrators do a great job of captivating young minds.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Magic Tree House Collection?

My boys love every time the narrator reads "it spun faster and faster and then everything was still. Absolutely still". They say the quote along with the reader each and every time!

What about Mary Pope Osborne’s performance did you like?

Her voices for each character are great!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The boys love when Morgan comes back and shares her wisdom.

Great books

These are great books and the stories are really entertaining and educational. The only one I did not agree with was the one at the world fair where she portrays Edison as a genius, which is not true. The genius was Nikola Tesla, but I used it to explain this to my 6 yo son, that sometimes people are not what history says they are. Developing always a critical mind!

captivates my 6 year old

Would you consider the audio edition of Magic Tree House Collection to be better than the print version?

The stories are quite imaginative and perfect for my 6 year old son. He's already read Book #1 and he's asked if we can get all of them. It's the first chapter book he's read. We listen to them all the time in the car.

These audio books are a great introduction for kids to use their own imagination to create the scenes. I would definitely recommend them to any parents with young kids. Listening to audio books in the car is much better than watching a DVD. The audio book version has gotten my son excited about reading. And he's into reading these books, even though he's listened to the audio book version many many times.

The audio books get much much more mileage than the print version. What I like is that they still allow the listener to use their imagination. What I like is hearing the reader change their voice to suit the character. And if the author reads it, I get to hear how she intended for us to hear it. She's able to express the personality of the character she created. I do the exact same thing when I read to my son. And the audio book version sounds like a totally different story than when I read the book version.

I love them. And the pages never go yellow on an audio book.
