Better than the First Book

I always worry about the second book in a series it is usually a let down. Fortunately for me this book was even better than the first. The characters for flushed out to a greater degree, and new characters were introduced as a natural progression rather than being forced. The plot was as good or better than the first book as well. I highly recommend this sequel.

amazing but minor issue

The story wonderfully done i love the story and the narrators work.DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR MY USELESS COMMENT ABOUT THIS GREAT BOOK. there are a few times that I can hear clicking like the pressing on a mechanical keyboard at areas where there are minor pause it didn't bug me enough to not enjoy the book but because I know it is there I will not reread these after new releases of future books(when a new book comes out I almost always reread the entire series before I start the new one just to make sure I don't miss any small important details)

Even better than the first book!

Excellent story and world building. Hazel much improved her narration skills, making more marked differences with each characters voice. I would definitely recommend the series.

So good

I really enjoy this series. It’s well written and well narrated. The characters are really likeable, and the way the author writes, makes me actually care what happens to them. Well done!

Just keep getting better

I do think this one move a lot faster then the first I wish it would have slowed down at some parts.

its good.

very well done, and i enjoyed it.
high marks, but as a audiobook listener i have sone critiques.
On the masculine preformer there is a shrill on 'sh' sound that is just jarring enough to pause attention.
And for the feminine vo most of the time it sounds like they are only reading the lines they are needed for, those line come off flat, personality is there for the character but its words without tonal context 80 percent of the time.
still loved this read, did not subtract fron the rating.

Better than Book1

It found the end of book 1 to be a little convoluted.

Book 2, while not as good as the early part of book 1, was consistently good throughout.
