Learn to Chant Mantras by Listening

Would you listen to Mantra: Sacred Words of Power again? Why?

This is great for those of us who see the written Sanskrit and wonder how to pronounce the mantras. The author also has a great deal of knowledge about the purpose of each mantra he teaches, and includes lessons in history and mythology, as well as lots of anecdotes about real people using the mantras and their sometimes unexpected results. I listened to this on a solo road trip to a meditation center and it was just the thing to give me food for thought while I was there.

I really am glad I got this one.

One of the best I have heard. Well done, very clear. The author really takes the time to explain everything in very simple terms. I really learned a lot! Thank you for your work on this.

I think the Author did a fine job narrating this audiobook. I do have an issue with the Audible app. Since this book is a book that requires memory, study, and pronunciation of special words-My only request that the Study Guide be included by pdf file for more difficult audiobook material that requires more than a playback to comprehend.

Excellent audio book with many helpful mantras. Where ever one finds themselves on a spiritual practice/practice - there is a mantra for you. While not every situation many be covered in this audio book, in the rare case that you're in need of different mantras, mantras are available here that can guide you to your ideal mantra(s).

Thomas Ashley-Farrand's voice is rich and soothing. His explanations of mantra meanings are clear and thorough. He recites origin stories for many mantras. He is a story teller extraordinaire, a sublime orator and a true spiritual teacher. This book is a gem.

A listening in Perfection of sound in words excellent!!

I will listen to over and over again multiple times. I would recommend this book to anybody. For those on a spiritual path this will come to you at exactly the time it needs to. As my first mantra learned over 20 years ago. When I first used , bringing a dragonfly back to life.
