Publisher's summary

It's 51 years after the Second American Civil War. The 40 million citizens of the United American State are aghast to find that their biggest celebrity, Major Marlowe Kana of the Imagen Military and Security Division (MilSec), has just been found guilty of treason. Every feed on the net has been covering the events of her trial, and two questions remain to be answered: What will happen to MK, and what will the nation watch now that the Next Top Soldier Hall-of-Famer (and star of the most-watched feed in history) is locked away? The answer comes almost immediately and shakes the country to its core.

This audiobook, narrated by Jessica Calvello (voice talent from Attack on Titan, Pokemon) contains Book 1, Volume 1 (chapters 1-10) for easy listening.

A Modern Cyberpunk Running Man

A pretty entertaining listen! There's a lot of world-buildibg that paints a rather terrifying vision of the future, with some really creative narration.

An interesting sci-fi story

A very interesting story, well narrated. The information that has been revealed about the United States in the story makes me curious to learn more about the events leading up to the story and what caused the United States to be in the state that it's in. Definitely want to read more.

Unique and scarily plausible dystopian scifi

I loved reading the book but as with all my favorite audio books, I love hearing the small nuances and how they change my imagined picture. Jessica Calvello does an amazing job inflecting and creating each and every character.

If you havent read the book, I personally place it in the same category as Hunger Games, Running Man with the dystopian future but with a truth in how scary things may end up due to the failures of our society. It also has the exciting "on the run" feel of Minority Report or Shooter.

I cant wait for more audio books to be made
