About this listen

An independent Omega wants to stay unmated and run his bakery in peace - too bad his fated mate won't let that happen.

Avery Blue is a young Omega and the owner of the new bakery called the Halo Muffin. He's determined to stay unmated and show the world there's more to an Omega than just popping out babies and being toys for Alphas.

Enter the walking wall of muscle named Lucas Kochalka, Alpha of the Kochalka Pact. He rushes into the store and tries to stomp away with his mate.

But Avery isn't going to let some massive thing of testosterone ruin his life.

After all, there's no such thing as love between Alphas and Omegas. Right?

A rambunctious Alpha leader wants to buy out the space of the Halo Muffin, but when he smells his fated mate, his plans are thrown into the wind like a plate of loose spaghetti.

For Lucas, having an Omega in his territory running a store is a big no-no. All they'll do is disturb the Alphas. Plus, that store space should belong to his gun store.

After trying to buy the young Omega's space out, he gets a rejection, time after time.

When he goes to confront the owner, he smells a scent that makes him forget what he wanted.

Because it doesn't matter now.

He wants him. Avery.

And he's gonna have him.

One. Way. Or. Another.

OMG, hello! I'm Penny Bloom, and I'm back with another tale! Mated to the Feisty Omega has no cheating (uh, duh, like why even?) and no cliffhangin' (anticipation is so wrong), and it has a huge, cute, snuggly HEA - with babies and kittens. Yes, people, real kittens that can shift into humans when they're older.

Missing Something?

The story was good and an easy read. The multiple babies was a bit strange but believable. Then the last chapter skips and it seems like something is missing, like a whole chapter. It really ruins the story.

Worth a listen

Great story! The pregnancy was super unrealistic besides being mpreg but the rest was awesome.

Mpreg is meant to be fluff but this is juvenile

Bad, choppy dialogue. Plot, ?, jumps around constantly, sexual encounters are crude and rudimnetally written. It feels like this was written by a snarky 16 year old girl in need of an English tutor. I know the genre is not in any way serious reading, but this had NO meat whatsoever. The narrator tried enthusiastically but missed the mark. Probably a difficult job given the material she had to work with.

Great story but too quickly done

I love shifter Mpreg stories. This story had the potential to be really great but it was too quickly done. I think it skipped over too many important build up scenes. Would loved to see it revised into a longer story with more detail and build up to important scenes.
