Max was born with cerebral palsy, and due to this, he nearly always used a wheelchair. During the school summer holidays, Max meets a fortune-teller who asks him to make a wish. Max wishes to be as able as all other kids because he's afraid that he won't be accepted and make new friends when he starts his new school. Lovely story

The friendship of Max and Leo is what we should all strive to have. A young friendship in heart and mind. Lovely story that I would recommend for adults and children. I'm excited to read the other books by this writer.
