The conclusion of the story of Ivy and Maze from The Ballerina and the Fighter.

Maze

There are times in life when you have to make decisions that others will neither understand nor forgive. When that happens, then you make damn sure they never find out.

But no matter what, you will do anything to protect those you love. Even if it means you forfeit your soul.

Ivy

He's keeping something from me. And I'm not sure I want to know because it will forever change us.

Strong Love

Ivory and Maze was amazing couple going through the ups and downs at the end she show him love and he show her love shame what happen to his "family" but i am glad Ivory folks find it in their heart to love him back. Asian Gangs are no joke it remind me of the movie that the late singer Aaliyah was in that came out right before her death great book I would love to see this story in a movie forum.

NEEDS TO BE MADE INTO A MOVIE.. I loved series.

What made the experience of listening to Maze the most enjoyable?

The martial art fights had me on the edge of my seat. The last fight should have lasted longer.

What other book might you compare Maze to and why?

I love the bwwm story. I think this would make for an awesome film if TIKA SUMPTER ( Euphemia L. Sumpter) was the dancer and any hot martial artist.. That is the only thing that seemed sad. It was about VERY young lovers.. I wish there was more bwwm with middle aged people.. We are the ones BUYING these stories..

What about Matthew Whitfield’s performance did you like?

Did a fine job.. But when he did the FEMALE voice.......... Uhmmmm... It made me giggle which caused me a happy distraction.. True professional voice over artist.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Listened while driving between assignments.. Great distraction.

Any additional comments?

Needs to be made into a martial arts movie.. Great job.

Started out great then went Jason Bourne

The continuation of the Ballerina and The Fighter was good until the ending. I loved the narrator when he did the male characters. I did imagine him as Maze. The story kept my attention until Maze went Jason Bourne toward the middle. It put the story past believable. But there was a HEA even with the repeated verses from the first book. Probably won't read the last installment.

lost interest

I loved Maze standing up for his girl, but I couldn't stand his girlfriend. All she did was cry about everything. Which really made me not like the book. Maze needed a girl with at least some attitude. The one he had was a cry baby.
