Fantastic!

This wonderful, exciting, book will hold your interest from the first page to the last. Ms. Kane hit a home run with this one. Having Ms. Craden as narrator was a plus! If there is a book 4 I will buy it. I purchased the first books in this series in e-book versions as I thought Emily made the characters sound like weak women. Ms. Craden did credit to Ms. Kane writing. I highly recommend this book.

Thank you!

I will never not love a book that acknowledges minority queer people exist. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for writing a book that has a BLACK main character!! Maybe you can convince some of the other thousands of authors out there that we deserve stories and love too.

Metamorphosis 🦋

I think this was my favorite in the series. We got to catch up with all the other characters. We were able to see Dr. Valerie Westland through her love journey. Plus, there were a lot of heartwarming moments throughout the story.

Valerie and Cressida - just as hot a couple as the others, but there was such a tenderness there as well from the start. Especially given the way they initially met! 🙈 They were truly fire to read, though... such a beautiful couple❤️🥰

And, Abby Craden does it again...love listening to her!

Abby amazing again!

I loved that everybody wasn’t white, and thin! Abbys voice was so good I thought there were several people reading this one. I guess my only issue is that in all of these books the women are wealthy. That’s not reality!

Great book

I listen to all 3 books one after another. So glad AC was the narrator on this one. Great story and steamy bits!

fabulous book

I absolutely love this book, the story, narrator and everything about this book. I didn't want to stop listening , it kept intrigued and honestly I love the couple, even though the insecurities I still love it. I appreciate the diversity in the story line. Thank you Diane Kane for this Beautiful story and Thank you Abby Craden for the narration.

The things we are given versus the things we make!

What does this book make- love- in all its beautiful complexity and grace! It is a blessing to note that where we start out doesn’t control where we end up! And that is especially true of these characters individually and as a couple! No spoiler alert but OMG on the book’s dramatic beginning! There is plenty of passion between these leading ladies and a supporting cast of like-minded folks. We have a chance to really get to know these characters and the frailties they see in themselves when they look in the mirror. How someone sees themselves also comes from their partner, and in this case, it’s life-affirming!

The narration is good, though it requires a mental reset from previous books regarding the voices, since this is a different narrator from the other two books. I recommend the series, since characters and story lines from previous books are included in this one.

What’s special about the plot- there is yet another deviation from a typical romance novel format. This author persist in showing her depth and insight when it comes to relationships. Can real life interfere with romance? I’m hearing- YES! Rather than shying away from that, our author challenges her ladies to deal with it!

The backdrop of a non-profit organization that supports LGBTQIA youth and the bonus of “chosen family” also make the story unique and definitely worth reading!

Angst

Parts of the book was good, characters were relatable. The biggest issue was the constant angst. Wishy washy and juvenile at times.
