Publisher's summary

One little lie - the tiniest whisker - throws pampered Miss Wheaton into a pickle... and into the arms of a notorious duke.

She was only trying to help a friend, how on earth could things have gone all in a muddle? The more she attempts to tidy her life, the more sordid things seem to get.

Now rumors have marked her a hussy, her best friend has gone missing, and that dratted duke is doing unexpected things to her heart! However will she untangle herself from this mess? Unless, just maybe, Miss Wheaton's whiskers won't lead her to ruin, but straight into true love...

Reminiscent of Oscar Wilde

Miss Wheaton's Whiskers reminded me a lot of the Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. There are several misunderstandings and scandals that eventually turn out to everyone's great satisfaction. Plus as an added bonus, we have more than one couple get matched up.

Laugh Out Loud Funny

I listened to this audiobook on a long drive and laughed out loud so many times that I'm sure the drivers around me thought I was crazy. I couldn't wait for Elizabeth Wheaton and the Duke to finally realize one another's identity and once they did I held my breath for them to admit their feelings. Among this wacky cast of characters, love comes to many. You'll have to listen or read the story to see who. This is a fun, lighthearted story!
