This is a short story for both young and old, with many layers to enjoy. It is hoped that it will prompt discussion about the importance of taking risks, whilst developing an understanding of personal resilience.

I wrote this story to convey the importance to my own children of understanding risk and resilience, whilst also being aware of the impact they can have on others and their environment.
