Very Good!

Any additional comments?

Jonnie Jacobs is in transiting better to best now, I like “Murder Among us” and Jacobs other books “Motion to Dismiss” and “The only suspect” too. Story begins when good hearted Kate stops to help as girl in rainy night …and kidnapped ..murder all makes story a well-blended garam masala mystery. I found book suspenseful and very hard to put down. Story travels seamlessly past to present, back to forth not only with main character Kate also her fiancé Michael. Big thumbs up for narrator Suzan Lynn Lorraine.

Good storyline

Good storyline, keep me guessing to near the end.
Narration was done well. She did not deadpan nor did she over dramatize it, she found a very good medium. Very pleasant to listen to.
What i did not like was the main character. She was very egotistical and i find it hard to tolerate people who would put concerns for strangers above the safety of their own family.

Murder Among Strangers: The Kate Austen Mystery Se

"This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast."

This is the first book in the series I have read. I see there are three earlier books. Since I haven't read the earlier ones, I can't comment on consistency in the characters.

Kate seems a bit over goody goody in this novel. She wants to fix everyone, and gets in deep trouble.

The novel drug in some places, but overall it held my attention; and had me guessing "who did it?" When I find a little more time I will go back and check out the earlier novels.

Very Good

Once I got over Kate's stupidity for putting herself in a really bad situation, I really enjoyed this book.

Weaves the story to keep you captivated.

Where does Murder Among Strangers rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Only near the middle. Jonnie has written better.
Too much swearing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Murder Among Strangers?

The coworker who obsessed and could cause a lot of trouble.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Good diction. Disliked how she always sounded like a weak, helpless woman.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Oh what a tangled web we weave.

Great read

I had read this book years ago and enjoyed it. I must say that listening to it gives it a whole different experience. I very much liked Suzan's narrative. I was gifted this book by the author with the understanding I would leave an unbiased review.

A good mystery, has its good moments

"This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast."

This is a pretty good mystery. Starts with a bang and ends nicely, but I found there were a few boring moments throughout the story. The intrigue kind of dragged on a bit. But near the end the pace picked up and made for a rather satisfying ride. Kudos for creating solid characters, they were nicely fleshed out and very believable. Bottom line, read this book, it's well worth your time.

Better Than Average

Good Narration, better than average story with a couple of twists that made it interesting. Worth a read and will try another in the series. "I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via AudiobookBlast dot com"
