Story was good buuuut

The narrators left a lot to be desired. The female narrator has extremely flat delivery and the male narrator is far too old sounding for his character. Both were rather off-putting for different reasons.

The story itself was good. Not as good as some of her others but I would say 3.5-4 out of 5 for story. I may revise the score once I have a physical read-through.

Love it, great story line.

The story is suspenseful and engaging. The read transforms you to feel you are in the story.

Light fast easy read

Not a lot of depth or story/character development but fun and easy to read on a day off.
The one thing that I loved about the book was that they actually use a vibrator!

Great story, but not the right narrator

I love Tessa’s books, she never misses. But the audio really took me out of the story. The male narrator is just not the right voice for Myles. He sounds too old and a bit creepy, like a smokier version of Danny DeVito.

Great story

I really enjoyed the mystery and the romance. I should go to a mini vacation often and find me a romance.

Great Story

Story was great. Taylor’s narration was great. Miles’ narration left something to be desired. The bad boy vibe was there but the narrator sounded older than the character was meant to be and sometimes that took away from the storyline.

1st person , dual POV

I really enjoyed this murder mystery romcom it made me laugh out loud so many times 😂. I thought it was a tad bit “InstaLust”, but it worked for me and the epilogue really was great😩. I think it’s a really fun quick summer read that has amazing spice of course.
I honestly was not the biggest fan of the male narrator however I was still able to push through and enjoy the book.

This story was cute and fun! I'm a fan of Tessa, and this is pretty on par with her other writing. The story could have been a bit more exciting for a murder mystery, but I find where most of her books lack in drama they make up for in endearing and funny scenes.
The performances were great, too!

Old man vibes

The female narrator was okay. The male was creepy. Gave old man vibes. Sounds like an 70 year old chain smoker.

Rough and tumble Beauty and the Beast?

Loved this book and with be listening again!!! The book reminds me of beauty and the beast with a murder in the best way possible!
