This is so accurate to an experience with a mental health facility, with the exception of the end of course. This author really did their research well. Or they were able to convey experience well. whichever.

Not what I expected but still really good

I read this having no idea what it was about but enjoyed the story, I can’t wait to read the next book!

What a teaser!

This is a short story about a girl who sees gray fog around people that she believes are going to die. When she feels the fog coming all she can do is scream. Unfortunately one of these screaming fits happened in the middle of sears and she is committed because of it....but she finds some answers in the psych ward.

I admit I only got this book because it was narrated by Amanda Ronconi, she is GOOD! But I'm intrigued enough to download book 1 and see where this goes. Is this chick just crazy, is she a grim reaper and doesn't know it, I want to know why she has to scream.

Good way to pass 2 hours

What did you love best about My Soul to Lose?

I downloaded this because it was free, and it's in the genre I like to escape to - teen fantasy. It's basically a preview of an entire series, which is a good way to see if you would want to purchase the first book in the series. I found the descriptions intriguing and the storyline different than any I've read before, so it was worth it. I will probably check out the series at some point in the future.

Loved it

I loved this book. It was not that long but I couldn't stop listening til it was finished. I can't wait for the next one. The narrator did a wonderful job.

This is one of my favorite series

I wish I could listen to the rest. I have up to the third book, but I would also like to listen to the other prequels.

An interesting start

Definitely made me curious about the series, but not in any sort of urgent way. Good narration, but it is slow so I recommend listening on a higher speed! If you like traditional YA books, I think you will like this one.
